The fruit production of Verona is one of the most important manufacturing region in Northern Italy.
In recent decades other fruit production than peach, such as cherry and apricot, has became specialized cultivation. The growing interest among growers Venetians towards these productions has not yet found, at least initially, a prompt response in offering regional nursery.
